Boston & Maine Jeep in Buckingham Branch territory
Title:  Boston & Maine Jeep in Buckingham Branch territory
Description:  You would not believe the action at Doswell today. BBRR is moving cars with 2 engines and crews plus their track crew is replacing ties in this yard at Doswell. If their service today is any indication of the future, they're gonna need a bigger yard!

Ahhh, we have a train
Title:  Ahhh, we have a train
Description:  #5 has set out the cars. #3 is coupling the last set and almost ready to head out across the diamond. I must have looked at this pic a dozen times before I noticed the spare knuckles carried on the pilot.

The work is never done
Title:  The work is never done
Description:  #5 went right to work moving more cars around after #3 pulled out of the yard. I do like the big roads but I've never seen them "hump" like these guys. I think all the hub-bub leading up to the BBRR running the Piedmont Sub is going to turn out to be a bunch of bunk. This is a first class operation!

Crisp, cold morning on the Buckingham Branch
Title:  Crisp, cold morning on the Buckingham Branch
Description:  BB 5 sits in the yard. BB 7 and BB 3 have already left with their westbound train. Please excuse the graffitied box in background. It was not intentionally shot. I won't usually display vandalism.

BB 5
Title:  BB 5
Description:  CSX RF&P Sub in the background. They don't really tie up their locos. It's a power cord for a heater in the cab I think.

Used ties anyone?
Title:  Used ties anyone?
Description:  BB is still replacing ties in the Doswell yard. Finished work looks good, looks like they may get the whole yard.
